Working on sourcing live acts for both large scale events and small events alike.
2022 and 2023 saw me looking after artists and VIPs at the British Grand Prix in Silverstone. I created the entertainment schedule for Silverstone public areas, Village, Wellington and Club. As well as all the entertainment for Match Hospitality lounges.
Sourcing and rehearsing actors for Warwick Castle summer carnival and their Sundown Spectacular.
I built the entertainment schedule and sourced acts, all local to Birmingham, for the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
My main body of work for 2022 was to schedule and build the entertainment programme for Fifa World Cup in Qatar for Match Hospitality, one, for the tender and then to deliver! I was in Qatar overseeing the entire programme as well as acting as a stadium manager for two Stadiums. A massive job that was hugely rewarding.
LaplandUk, Ascot - Head of Performance
June 2015 – 2021- 7 Years
For seven years I oversaw all performance aspects of Laplanduk, a Christmas immersive experience like no other.
Achievements: I planned all cast schedules, this helped customer experience, capacity and welfare of the cast. Developed scripts, incorporated layering. I introduced additional characters to enhance the experience. Introduced role sharing to the company, helping actors to deliver their best performance.
Supporting customer service, retail and F&B, the experience in its entirety is all about delivery. Having people understand that an immersive experience starts the moment the customer enters into our world. It doesn't start and end with actors alone.
Responsible for all casting of the event. Advertising for actors and taking auditions. Rehearse all actors into their role. Responsible for all props.
Created all performer content for Flow training modules.
Company Manager: Managing all cast and crew during the live event. I direct the actors and then manage them once the show is live. We have six shows going simultaneously every half hour for ten hours. It’s a massive show with daily challenges which I thrive in. I’m good at fast decision making, taking action and managing people of all ages and requirements. I’ve been told I have a natural adaptable manner which draws people in and makes them feel valued.
2020: Doing the event in 2020 was a massive achievement. As Covid regulations swept across the world Lapland UK were determined to deliver the spirit of Christmas. With unwavering resolve and a dedicated team we made an event in 2020 possible. It was far from easy, there were many sleepless nights, countless revisions with a commitment to safety, it demanded creativity, adaptability and determination. I was immensely proud of what we achieved.
